in the shadow of a dark mooon
In the shadow of a dark moon is a short suite of seven sections. The sections are selections of themes written from material originally created for a play in early 2015. The play itself was based around themes of the moon, water, and isolation.

It was written for and performed by the St Mathews Chamber Orchestra in Auckland in August 2015, conducted by Michael Joel.

Happy to supply a score on request.

within wthout
Within Without is a big bad composition featuring elements of free improvisation, graphic score, and conventional score. It features free improvisor and guitarist Paul Buckton performing with Auckland Jazz Orchestra. It was originally written and recorded for Andrew's masters portfolio in 2013. Andrew is currently rewriting elements of the piece for future performances. Tim Atkinson is the conductor and band leader for this recording.
tides

nine coins of the divided church
originally written and arranged for the New Pacific Music Ensemble, John Bell asked for a tune for the upcoming Spoilers of Utopia performance and live recording. The Nine Coins of the Divided Church was a tune Andrew wanted to have a chance to revisit and this opportunity was perfect to explore new harmonic approaches to the melody.
